| A Word From Danny on Ministry "Ministry. It is an overused word in late 20th Century American Christianity. Especially when so much of what we see called 'ministry' is simply self-serving non-profit disguised capitalism. I looked up the word 'ministry'. It literally means 'to help'. The words 'to help' are never overused. As you read this next section, think of the words 'to help' when you see what God has allowed us to be a part of. The soldiers in the foxholes; the men in the stadiums. There is a lack of star making luster in much of what you will read here. We made some choices early on in this 'career' that cost us some exposure, recording contracts and forward movement in the music industry. For us, that was the road we had to choose to fulfill the call we were given. Did it cost? Yeah. Was it worth it? We can only see darkly a glimpse of the results of our work in this life. I can truly say there are not many things I would change." - DB [RETURN TO TOP] Promise Keepers Years: Producer & Director Danny was booked by PK as a special music soloist for many of those stadium events. After the invitation to perform, the burgeoning Promise Keepers organization approached Danny with an offer to serve as their Senior Program Director for stadium events. Danny accepted the position and headed up the Program Services department for three conference years. Danny’s department selected the speakers, worked directly with Maranatha! Music and produced all other elements of the program on site, to ensure integrity of message, consistency of content and overall flow of the platform. Danny produced and directed 27 national stadium events, including co-directing Stand In The Gap: A Sacred Assembly of Men in Washington D.C. Danny Byram Ministries Diversifies DBM Inc. produced its first event for Family Research Council of Washington D.C. Partnering with DBM was Ryan Dobson, son of Dr. James Dobson of Focus On The Family. Danny & Ryan were featured guests on the nationally broadcast radio show: Focus On The Family. Dennis Rainey of FamilyLife Ministries of Little Rock, AR contracted Danny to produce and direct FamilyLife’s large one-day arena conferences. Danny worked alongside Dennis Rainey, Bob Lepine and other leaders of FamilyLife to write, perform and produce over 33 one-day couple’s events in NBA-sized arenas across the country. Serving as Producer for some of the largest Christian events of our time has given Danny Byram the opportunity to personally work alongside Charles Swindoll, Tony Evans, Chuck Colson, Jack Hayford, Howard Hendricks, Gary Smalley, Philip Yancey, Ken Davis, Paul Sheppard, Tim Kimmel, Crawford Loritts, Paul Overstreet, The Winans, Maranatha!
